What customer receives after booking

After each confirmed booking on ¡HolaOlas!, your customers automatically receive two elements :

  • A confirmation email sent automatically
  • A confirmation page displayed after payment

These two elements contain all the necessary information for your customers to have confidence and know what to do next.

The automatic confirmation email

When is it sent?

  • Immediately after a successful Stripe payment
  • Automatically, without action on your part
  • In the customer's language (automatically detected)

Email subject :

  • EN : `✅ Booking Confirmation - {experience_name}`
  • FR : `✅ Confirmation de réservation - {nom_expérience}`
  • ES : `✅ Confirmación de Reserva - {nom_expérience}`

Sender : `HolaOlas <noreply@holaolas.app>`

Confirmation email content

The email contains several important sections:

1. Header :

  • Green background with title "Your booking is confirmed!"
  • Personalized greeting with customer name

2. Booking number :

  • Green box with unique reference number
  • Format: first 8 characters of ID in uppercase
  • Allows customer to find their booking

3. Experience details :

  • Experience name
  • For hotels : Check-in and check-out dates, number of nights, number of guests
  • For excursions/activities : Date, time, number of participants

4. Payment details :

  • Amount paid and currency
  • Payment type (deposit or full payment)
  • If deposit: remaining balance amount and automatic charge date
  • Total booking price

5. Your contacts (if configured) :

  • Section "For any question, change or cancellation, contact:"
  • Phone (if configured and visible)
  • WhatsApp (if configured and visible)
  • Email (if configured and visible)

6. Thank you :

  • "Thank you for your trust!"
  • Your company name

The confirmation page after payment

When does it appear?

  • Immediately after successful Stripe payment
  • Automatic redirect to `/booking/[id]/success`
  • If embed with `returnUrl`: automatic redirect after 3 seconds

URL : `/{locale}/booking/{bookingId}/success`

This page serves as immediate proof of the booking and can be printed.

Confirmation page content

The confirmation page displays:

1. Header :

  • Your logo (if configured)
  • Your company name (if configured)
  • Success icon (green circle with check)
  • Title: "Payment confirmed!"
  • Subtitle: "Your booking has been successfully confirmed"

2. Booking details :

  • Booking number (first 8 characters in uppercase)
  • Booking date and time (localized format)
  • Experience name
  • Customer first and last name
  • Customer email

3. Payment details :

  • Amount paid today (in green, bold)
  • Payment type: "Deposit of X%" (if deposit)
  • Remaining balance (if deposit)
  • Blue box with info on automatic balance charge
  • Total price (large size, bold)

4. Next steps :

  • Blue box with list:
  • ✉️ "A confirmation email has been sent to {email}"
  • 📱 "You will receive a reminder before your booking"
  • 💳 "The balance will be automatically charged on the day" (if deposit)

5. Available actions :

  • "Print confirmation" button (triggers printing)
  • Return button (to your site or home)

What customer CANNOT do :

  • Modify or cancel automatically (must contact you)
  • Make additional payment
  • View booking history (no account)

All changes require direct contact with you.

Available customization

You can customize what your customers receive:

Currently available :

  • Configure your contacts in Settings > Company profile
  • Choose which contacts to display (phone, WhatsApp, email)
  • Add your logo and company name

Coming soon (February 2026) :

  • Add custom message in email
  • Customize additional content
  • Modify email style

For now, the essential is to properly configure your contacts so your customers can easily reach you.

Tips to optimize customer experience

  • Configure your contacts : Make sure your contact details are up to date in settings
  • Respond quickly : Your customers know how to reach you, respond quickly
  • Check your emails : Make a test booking to see what your customers receive
  • Communicate clearly : Use additional information in your experiences to provide more details
  • Stay available : Your contacts are visible, be available to respond

A good confirmation experience strengthens trust and reduces questions.
