How the booking confirmation email works on ¡HolaOlas!
When a booking is confirmed on ¡HolaOlas!, a confirmation email is automatically sent to the customer.
This email acts as the official booking proof, summary, and direct contact point with the provider.
When the email is sent
The email is sent only after a successful Stripe payment.
No confirmation is issued without validated payment.
What the email contains
- Unique booking reference
- Experience name
- Booking date and time (or check-in/check-out dates for accommodation)
- Number of participants
- Paid amount and currency
- Payment type (deposit or full payment)
- Remaining balance and automatic charge date, if applicable
- Provider contact details
If configured, the email displays:
- phone number
- email address
This allows customers to contact the provider directly for questions, changes or cancellations.
What this email guarantees
- Automatic written confirmation
- Identical information for customer and provider
- Traceable booking via a unique reference
- Clear and verifiable payment information
What the email does not do
- It does not allow automatic booking changes or cancellations
- It does not initiate additional payments
- It does not replace the provider's cancellation policy
