Booking refund policy on ¡HolaOlas!
On ¡HolaOlas!, refunds are secure, traceable, and always initiated by the provider.
The platform never decides refunds on behalf of the experience creator.
How refunds work
All payments are processed via Stripe.
When a refund is issued:
- the payment is refunded through Stripe
- funds are returned to the customer using the original payment method
- the booking status is updated
Refunds follow the provider's rules.
Available refund types
Providers can issue:
- full refunds
- deposit-only refunds
- balance-only refunds
- partial refunds with a custom amount
All actions are managed from the provider dashboard.
Refund timelines
Actual timelines depend on:
- the customer's bank
- Stripe
- the payment method used
¡HolaOlas! does not enforce automatic delays.
Conditions are defined and communicated by the provider.
Provider responsibility
The provider:
- defines refund rules
- decides when refunds apply
- communicates directly with the customer
¡HolaOlas! supplies the technical infrastructure, not the business decision.
What ¡HolaOlas! does not do
- no automatic refunds without provider approval
- no automatic penalty or delay calculations
- no single imposed refund policy
