Hotel pricing: room types
For hotels, ¡HolaOlas! uses room types to organize your offerings.
A fixed price of 29 USD/month gives you access to all features, regardless of the number of room types.
The principle: 1 room type = 1 configuration
A room type is a unique configuration with:
- A specific name (e.g., "Standard Room", "Deluxe Suite")
- A price per night
- Features (capacity, amenities, view)
- Representative photos
Quantity has NO impact on the price:
- 1 "Standard" room or 100 "Standard" rooms = 1 type
- You create 1 type with a "Quantity" field to indicate how many you have
💡 With the fixed 29 USD/month plan, create as many types as you need to present your offerings clearly.
Why organize by types
Each type = a distinct product for your customers
- Different photos to upload
- Unique description to translate (3 languages)
- Specific configuration (amenities, capacity, rates)
Example:
- 20 identical "Standard" rooms → 1 type with quantity = 20
- 5 "Sea View" + 3 "Garden View" rooms → 2 types with distinct presentations
In summary: Organize your types so your customers clearly understand what you offer.

A: Create 1 type "Standard Room" with quantity = 50. One configuration to manage.
Q: Sea View and Garden View at the same price, 1 or 2 types?
A: You decide! If you want different photos for each view → 2 types. If same presentation → 1 single type.
Q: When to create a distinct type?
A: When there's a significant difference the customer should see: price, view, amenities, capacity, photos.
