Booking cancellation conditions on ¡HolaOlas!

On ¡HolaOlas!, cancellation conditions are clear, visible and defined by each provider.

The platform does not impose uniform rules and never alters conditions without the provider's consent.

Where cancellation conditions are shown

Cancellation conditions are displayed:

  • directly on the booking page
  • before payment
  • within the experience details

Customers can review them before confirming their booking.

Who defines the cancellation conditions

Conditions are:

  • written by the provider
  • specific to each experience
  • translatable into multiple languages

¡HolaOlas! simply displays them as provided.

What ¡HolaOlas! does when a booking is cancelled

  • Bookings are managed from the provider dashboard
  • Refunds are processed through Stripe
  • Booking status is updated accordingly

¡HolaOlas! provides the technical tool, but the decision always belongs to the provider.

What is not automated

Currently:

  • there is no customer-side cancellation button
  • there is no automatic deadline calculation (e.g. "free until X days")
  • there is no specific handling for weather or force majeure cases

This ensures full flexibility for providers.

What this guarantees

  • Customers know the conditions before paying
  • Providers keep full control of their rules
  • No unwanted automatic cancellations
  • A direct relationship between customer and provider
